Le Petit-Philibert is a pretty Savoyard chalet close to the centre of Morzine. It has incredible views, a sunny aspect and a hot tub and sauna to ease those weary ski-legs! It’s also next door to our Hotel Philibert so you can enjoy the hotel’s facilities and outdoor pool. All the benefits of a hotel, but in a private chalet!
Le Petit-Philibert is a beautiful chalet built in local wood and stone with panoramic views of the mountains of Avoriaz and the ski slopes of Le Pleney in the distance. The chalet enjoys a privileged location, just 5 minutes’ walk (450 metres) to the resort centre and its array of bars and shops.
To go skiing in the morning, it’s a quick 5/6 minute ride on the free bus which stops 50 metres from the chalet to get to the main lifts and slopes for ski school. In fact, if you get the bus in the other direction, you can be at les Prodains lifts and slopes in under 10 mins for the Avoriaz sector - so the chalets' location gives you an even choice of where to ski each day.
Chalet guests will enjoy the chalet’s own hot tub and the extended facilities of the hotel; such as the hotel bar, (and happy hour), its sauna, indoor Jacuzzi and outdoor heated pool - which is great for a wintery dip. All the benefits of a hotel, but in your own private chalet. The hotel reception will offer resort information, massage therapies and ski-assistance throughout your stay. The evening meal is often taken in the hotel next door to the chalet in the chalets’ own private dining room. We feel this works best for the quality of menus and service.
Seven spacious bedrooms laid out over 3 floors. The lounge and dining room have a lovely sunny balcony offering views of Morzine and the Pleney in the distance. You’ll really enjoy the outdoor hot tub and sauna (which is indoors!).There’s a ski room with boot warmers. All rooms can fit a cot. Parking onsite for 3 or 4 cars
The chalet enjoys a lofty position above Morzine centre with cracking views and you can walk to the bars and shops in less than 5 minutes.
The Super Morzine gondola is about 1 mile away, but you’ll find it easier to take the free bus which stops very regularly 50m from the chalet. The ski bus will whisk you down to Le Pleney or the Super Morzine lifts within 5/6 minutes.
Alternatively, you can catch the bus in the other direction and get to the main Avoriaz gondola (Les Prodains) in less than 10 minutes, so you have an even choice of where to ski each day!
A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.
Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon; and in the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with our delicious three-course menus with unlimited wine. All this is served six days a week, for weekly stays, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff night off. For short break guests, read more about your Inclusive catering>

The Portes du Soleil ski region is one of the largest and most highly regarded in the world. It spans no less than 12 ski stations (reaching into Switzerland) all of which you can enjoy on the same full area lift pass. So in terms of variety, it is hard to beat!
Morzine sits right at the heart of the Portes du Soleil and has the best nightlife, shops and connections to all ski areas. It has a huge British presence (more than any other resort we know) and Brits love it here!
With skiing and boarding for all levels, some of the best terrain parks in Europe, a pretty chalet-style appearance and only one hour transfer from Geneva - it isn't hard to see why we love Morzine!
