Camelia has sunny views of the slopes at Roc de Fer and is well located on the fringes of the centre. The shuttle bus also stops right outside - so getting to the slopes is quick and easy.

About Chalet Camelia

Chalet Camelia has had a recent refurbishment and enjoys a modern and bright feel with spectacular views from its south facing terrace of the ski slopes heading down from Roc de Fer in the distance.

You’ll enjoy cosy evenings in front of a roaring log fire with stunning mountain views whilst tucking into afternoon tea and a well-deserved three course dinner cooked by our fantastic chalet hosts.

We like the pine ceilings and exposed beams which give it a warm and homely feel. Expect modern ensuite bathrooms in each of the brightly furnished bedrooms, sunny alpine views and bucket loads of atmosphere form this great ski chalet.

The Rooms

Chalet Camelia offers an airy lounge with a welcoming log fire (perfect for afternoon tea, coffee and cake!), and a dining room with valley views, looking towards the Roc de Fer slopes. There are 7 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms

Location

Chalet Camelia is next door to chalets Victoria and Camarine.

At only 350 metres from the popular apres ski bar of O’Sullivans and 550 metres or a 10 min walk from the start of the shops in Meribel centre, it’s a great location to take advantage of the village amenities.

We recommend taking the free Navette to the ski slopes, which’ll whisk you there in a matter of minutes. The bus stop is almost outside the chalet, within 50 metres, and runs until 11pm with increased services during peak times.

Food, glorious food!

Our half board catering package includes breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. We believe in eating well when you’re skiing and boarding; and a great day on the slopes starts with a very important meal. We serve up a proper breakfast each day, (with hot options on most days), to make sure you’re well set up for all the snow you can handle.

We know that nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon. Round off the day with a delicious three-course meal fit for a snow king... or queen. You won’t go hungry staying with us!

About Meribel

Meribel itself provides the perfect conditions for beginners and early intermediates to quickly improve their skiing, with a range of challenging and not so challenging descents.

The facilities for snowboard holidays are superb, with three snow park and pipe options in the Meribel sector alone.

There are many more very well maintained parks throughout the Trois Vallees, all easily accessible and feature a good variety of hips, slides and jumps to suit all abilities. There is also a border cross course for varying levels of potential snowboard racers!
