The Hotel

Hotel Plan B is newly built and opened in 2020. It offers a high level of accommodation with a contemporary and elegant design in the centre of Chamonix. This cleverly designed hotel has been created specifically for ski holidays and family holidays in Chamonix. We cannot think of a more functionally correct alpine base for a ski & snow board holiday to the Alps, and is surely the way of the future.

The hotel’s communal areas focus on socialising and families with a large, central bar where you’ll be able to enjoy regular live music, or just sit back and relax in the quieter areas of the hotel or its lounge. If you’d like to pamper yourself after an unforgettable day’s skiing & snow boarding or exploring the multitude of culture-spots around Mont Blanc then head to the wellness area where there’s a sauna and whirlpool. Take it slow for a while. You’ve earned it.

If you’ve children who want to blow off some steam then they will love the well-equipped games room with pool-table, entertainments and even a two-lane bowling alley.

The Rooms

The bedrooms are stylish and modern, with luxurious wood panelling, en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV with UK channels, free WiFi and tea / coffee-making facilities. Choose from a twin / double room or upgrade to a superior twin room that sleeps up to three. You will enjoy spectacular views of either Mont Blanc or the Aiguilles de Chamonix.

Location

The Hotel Plan B is in the centre of Chamonix - a short 5 minute walk to the Aguille Midi cable car and the best bars, shops and amenities in town. For self drive holidays: Chamonix is about 8 hours’ drive south-east of Calais.

The Catering

Plan B takes its food and drink very seriously, which is fortunate, because we do too! You’ll start each day with a selection of hot and cold options at a hearty breakfast buffet. It’s a real breakfast - designed to set you up for a day of energising activity.

In the evening, you will be served a 4-course menu in the restaurant which focuses on locally sourced produce. It’s a pleasant dining experience which is waiter-served. There are also earlier mealtimes and a specific kids’ menu too.
