We take a look at 2 brand new ski films coming out this 2016/17 winter season. With technology getting more and more advanced we are pretty excited to see what comes out later this year. Last year we saw the incredible 'Passenger' from Legs of Steel come out and blow everyone's minds! But this year there are 2 films we are really looking forwards to watching.
The Fourth Phase - Red Bull Media House
The guys at Red Bull Media House follow legendary snowboarder Travis Rice around and take a look at what goes on inside his head. While exploring the untapped back country of his native Wyoming, Rice plots a 16,000 mile course to follow the hydrological cycle around the north Pacific, where snow and ice create dreamlike landscapes on the towering mountains above.
From the Japanese Alps to the volcanoes of Russia, and a spectacularly remote area of Alaska, Rice is joined by several of snowboarding’s most innovative riders including Mark Landvik, Eric Jackson, Bryan Iguchi, Pat Moore, Mikkel Bang, Jeremy Jones, Victor de Le Rue, Ben Ferguson, and more.
