Had another fantastic alpine elements holiday in morzine. Visited summer and winter now. Always recommend to friends and family.
Thank you, all lovely. The only thing I would add is that there isn”t enough lounge space around the bar for the number of guests. With the outdoor space in the summer this would not be an issue, but in winter being able to relax after dinner is important and sometimes wasn”t possible. Could the smaller restaurant space at the rear be utilised to address this?
Everything was great, staff were friendly and knowledgeable – possibly could have been bit more engaging (maybe I m picking hair though!). ..Catering was good, liked the options each day. Basically really enjoyed our holiday and would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Anna was our host in Chalet Castor. She was by herself. Anna was absolutely amazing! Went the extra mile every single day. Brilliant cook, congenial host, lovely personality. A credit to your organisation! I ve shared with friends and some are considering a 2025 booking there.
Really nice hotel and staff, cosy, comfortable room with facilities and a balcony…Plenty of parking if you”re self travelling.
The chalet was well appointed and located not too far a walk from the Morel lift which was super convenient, even being in use at the tail end of the season. But what made the holiday was the friendliness of the staff, Amber and Chloe, and their excellent catering. Our only gripe was the annoying squeak made by all the dining chairs. Please replace. Also, it was annoying the downstairs loo for bedroom 1 (effectively a communal toilet for the living room and dining room) had no sink. This could be accommodated on the annexe off it used for cleaning supplies. The room descriptions should make a point too of saying how stunning Room 2 is. We thought Room 1 looked like the best option and booked that, whereas Room 2 was amazing!
Exactly what we hoped for in a family friendly chalet,
Philibert is in a great location, the food was superb, vegetarian options were really good and much appreciated by the vegetarian in our family. Staff were friendly and helpful. The kids loved relaxing in the pool before dinner.
Have already booked again for next season.
All staff were exemplary. A young team but the recruitment process delivered excellent individuals who made the holiday great.

We’ve just had the best week with Alpine Elements at Hotel Philibert in Morzine. It’s a great location with easy (free) bus transport to Morzine and Avoriaz, and we had some great skiing, even though there wasn’t much snow in the valley – it’s easy to get high enough to find plenty of good runs.
It’s a lovely small chalet hotel, and the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub were nice and warm, with stunning views of the mountains.
We were travelling with two small children and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, which made our stay so much more enjoyable.
The food was consistently excellent – it was a real treat to be cooked for all week, to a really high standard.
Transfers all worked well and communication from head off and from the resort rep was excellent.
Definitely an experience to repeat.
