Tignes

Valerie enjoys a great location in Tignes Le Lac and offers 6 ensuite bedrooms, a sauna and a cosy interior. It’s close to the centre of Tignes and about 150 metres from the Chaudannes and Paquis chair lifts for direct access to some of the best slopes in Tignes and Val d’Isère. And of course you can ski back to within 100m of the chalet. If you like shopping and après ski, there’s lots going on only 5 mins walk from the Valerie.

The Chalet

Valerie has six ensuite bedrooms and is laid out over one floor with a comfy lounge, dining room and open fireplace for cosy evenings in. There’s also a sauna for soothing your ski-legs. The Valerie offers a great place to relax as our host prepares afternoon tea and a three course dinner each evening (6 days a week).

You can almost ski back to the door (well, within 150 metres anyway!) and it’s a stone’s throw from the Pacquis and Chaudannes Express chairlifts that access the best runs in Tignes and link you straight into Val d’Isère.

The slopes that lead back to the chalet culminate in a nursery slope so even beginners and children can ski back to the chalet.

The Layout

The chalet sleeps 12 people over six twin / double en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms are presented in light and airy alpine style with recent bathrooms, cosy wood panelling and very comfortable furnishings. Open plan lounge, dining room with TV-Dvd, board games and Wi-Fi.

Location

The Location

We love its location! You can almost ski back to the door (well, within 150 metres anyway!) and it’s a stone’s throw from the Pacquis and Chaudannes Express chairlifts that access the best runs in Tignes and link you straight into Val d’Isère.

The slopes that lead to the bottom of these lifts (within 150m of the chalet) are a great home run for all levels and culminate in a nursery slope, so children and beginners can ski back to the chalet also.

The Tourist office in the centre of Tignes is about a 5-7 minute walk away, where you’ll find more lifts and ski school meeting points.Or the free bus will take you there in moments.

Food, glorious food

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. About Tignes

Tignes and Val d’Isére are two of the most snow sure and prestigious ski resorts in the world. They offer summer skiing and a long winter season from November to May. The standard full area lift pass will cover both domains and a respectful 325Km’s of pisted trails - but there’s 100’s more Km’s of off piste on top - and that’s ‘usable off piste’ - as the snow is always so good in Tignes!
