The Chalet

Chalet Napoleon is part of an exclusive development of chalets in Tignes Les-Brévierès, (or ‘TLB’ as we call it), which is the original "old town" of Tignes. It’s a pretty village with chalet-style architecture and a gorgeous lake with tennis, great walking trails and bike trails aplenty.

It’s a short drive up to the main hub of Tignes where you can try lots of free activities on your complimentary Activity Multipass - a bonus pass that we give away to everyone staying in our chalets. TLB is perfect if you’re the kind of family who appreciates a more tranquil setting and jaw-droppingly beautiful vistas’ for alfresco breakfasts; with all the action of Tignes ready and waiting, for when you want it!

The Napoleon can be booked together with it's sister chalet, the Josephine, which is accessed via a connecting door. This an ideal solution for larger groups.

Location

The Location

The chalets is 100-150 metres from a small carousel lift which connects skiers to the main slopes and town centre. To walk to the central areas it is approx 450 metres, or a 6½ minute walk downhill.

Les Brévières is the original “old town” of Tignes - it has the best glacier skiing in the Alps without the ugliness of a high-rise resort. The village is also home to some of the area’s best slopes, and only tree lined skiing, including the famous “La Sache” run. and some superb beginner runs too.

Eat, drink and go skiing

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily breakfast with hot options on most days to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine until dessert are served 6 nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff's night off.

  • Continental breakfast (7 days) with hot options (4 days)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three course dinners & wine, unlimited until dessert, (6 nights)
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Tignes

One of the largest ski areas in Europe and linked to neighbouring Val d’Isère, Tignes has earned itself 'Super Resort' status. Famous for its high altitude skiing and a snow record most other resorts can only dream of, Tignes coolly and comfortably rivals the world’s best ski and board destinations for downhill and off piste

The slopes in Tignes are characteristically wide, long lasting and highly efficient. All in all, this allows for some effortless skiing for all abilities, less slope congestion and not so much waiting in lift queues! The slopes are immaculately kept and link very well with neighbouring Val D’Isere to offer a superb variety of steeper descents and networks of easier runs for the progressive intermediates to cover some mileage.
