      The Chalet

Napoleon is situated in an elevated position which looks out over the lake and ski slopes of Brévierès. It’s a fantastic view to wake up to! The chalet is part of an exclusive development in the original old town of Tignes and has direct access to the best ski slopes in the area, especially on a powder day!

It’s only one gondola and one chairlift (and an easy ski down) to the centre of Tignes le Lac, which beginner skiers can do. However, you’ll probably want to ski around Brévierès before you go straight to Le Lac, because the slopes and snow quality are so good!

The chalet is about 100 metres from an ‘elevator ski lift’ which will take you straight down to the centre and ski slopes in minutes. There is also a small apres-ski bar very near to the chalet if you like to keep things really local! Josephine was recently refurbished in 2020 and benefits from a hot tub on the sun terrace (shared with Josephine next door) which comes complete with jaw dropping views of the mountains and slopes in the distance.

      Location

      The Location

The chalets is 100-150 metres from a small carousel lift which connects skiers to the main slopes and town centre. To walk to the central areas it is approx 450 metres, or a 6½ minute walk downhill.

Les Brévières is the original “old town” of Tignes - it has the best glacier skiing in the Alps without the ugliness of a high-rise resort. The village is also home to some of the area’s best slopes, and only tree lined skiing, including the famous “La Sache” run. and some superb beginner runs too.

      Food, glorious food

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. About Tignes

Tignes and Val d’Isére are two of the most snow sure and prestigious ski resorts in the world. They offer summer skiing and a long winter season from November to May. The standard full area lift pass will cover both domains and a respectful 325Km’s of pisted trails - but there’s 100’s more Km’s of off piste on top - and that’s ‘usable off piste’ - as the snow is always so good in Tignes!
