A premium 14 -15 bed ski chalet which oozes alpine charm and sits high up over Morzine with sweeping valley views and a welcoming hot tub at the end of the day.
Chalet Well is a premium ski chalet which was recently renovated using beautiful antique Scandinavian wood and stone. It blends old and new very tastefully inside, with the conveniently modern rubbing shoulders with timelessly classic. The chalet enjoys an elevated position high over Morzine with superb views over the valley and up into the mountains of Avoriaz.
The dining room has a vaulted cathedral ceiling with a roaring log fire and glass doors which give you spectacular views of the valley below. Perfect for gathering together at the end of a day and swapping stories of the slopes. Outside, the hot tub bubbles away on the terrace for you to soak those apres-ski legs as you gaze at the views of Morzine which are laid out before you.
Each bedroom has been beautifully decorated in an alpine-luxe style with antique wood and natural stone bathrooms. Many rooms offer mountain views from their balconies.
Laid out over three floors, there are seven en-suite bedrooms with beds for up to 15 and if you fill all 15 beds you can get a discount! On the main floor is a kitchen and dining room with a vaulted ceiling and open fireplace to enjoy evening meals, by firelight, with your friends.
Upstairs is a mezzanine lounge with sofas, games and entertainment. Outside is a hot tub with sweeping views of morzine. There’s also a ski room with boot warmers. Most rooms can fit a cot. Free parking onsite for up to 5 cars.
Chalet Well enjoys an elevated position above Morzine with spectacular views. The chalet is a 10-minute stroll into the centre of Morzine, but we prefer to take the free shuttle bus which stops outside the chalet and will whizz you to the slopes or the heart of the action in a few minutes. Daytime buses run (approx.) every 30 mins in the main season until late at night, with a break at lunch.
A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.
Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. All this is served six days a week, for weekly stays, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff night off. For short break guests, read more about your Inclusive catering>
The Portes du Soleil ski region is one of the largest and most highly regarded in the world. It spans no less than 12 ski stations (reaching into Switzerland) all of which you can enjoy on the same full area lift pass. So in terms of variety, it is hard to beat!
Morzine sits right at the heart of the Portes du Soleil and has the best nightlife, shops and connections to all ski areas. It has a huge British presence (more than any other resort we know) and Brits love it here!
With skiing and boarding for all levels, some of the best terrain parks in Europe, a pretty chalet-style appearance and only one hour transfer from Geneva - it isn't hard to see why we love Morzine!
