Treat yourself to a brand new luxury 8-bed chalet that sits high up over Morzine, just 10 mins walk from the start of the shops and bars. Enjoy the outdoor hot tub and feast your eyes on magnificent views of the village and mountains laid out before you. The Austin has four spacious bedrooms, each with an Italian designer bathroom.
Chalet Austin is as stylish an alpine retreat as they come. We designed the chalet ourselves and named it after a British design classic: the Austin Healey motor car.
This new chalet has been custom-built as a luxury mountain retreat (and the emphasis is on ‘treat’) with its elegant interiors, Italian designer bathrooms and huge floor-to-ceiling windows show off one of the finest panoramic views in Morzine.
The Austin is a very special chalet for eight, offering four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Expect a beautiful dining room and lounge with some very unique furnishings made locally in Morzine, alongside stunning views that look out over the valley and up into the mountains of Avoriaz.
Austin is the perfect pad to relax in. After a great day’s skiing or boarding, come back to the chalet (the free bus stops outside) or you can leave your boots at the ski shop and walk back - it’s only 10 minutes.
Either way, the chalet is an easy 10-minute stroll into town, but if you don’t fancy the walk - the free bus takes you there in a few mins and stops right outside the chalet. It’ll also whisk you to the slopes in the morning and takes about 5 mins to get to the Pleney lifts for skiing and ski school meeting points. Daytime buses run (approx.) every 30 mins in peak season with a break at lunch.
A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.
Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. All this is served six days a week, for weekly stays, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff night off. For short break guests, read more about your Inclusive catering>
The Portes du Soleil ski region is one of the largest and most highly regarded in the world. It spans no less than 12 ski stations (reaching into Switzerland) all of which you can enjoy on the same full area lift pass. So in terms of variety, it is hard to beat!
Morzine sits right at the heart of the Portes du Soleil and has the best nightlife, shops and connections to all ski areas. It has a huge British presence (more than any other resort we know) and Brits love it here!
With skiing and boarding for all levels, some of the best terrain parks in Europe, a pretty chalet-style appearance and only one hour transfer from Geneva - it isn't hard to see why we love Morzine!
