Meribel

Jolie is a large catered ski chalet in Méribel-Chandon with 21 beds (over 10 en-suite bedrooms) and an outdoor hot tub and sauna. The Jolie provides easy access to the pistes and you can almost ski back to the chalet from Méribel centre. The chalet offers panoramic views of the Méribel valley and is a great property for large ski groups of friends and family.

The Chalet

Jolie is in the centre of Méribel-Chandon, a small village which is close to Méribel centre. Chandon is just 10 mins on the free bus which stops outside the chalet (and runs all the time) to provide easy access to La Chaudanne for ski school and all the main ski slopes and lifts. Intermediate skiers and boarders can almost ride back to the chalet under normal snow conditions which is a rare bonus for any property in Meribel.

The chalet benefits from incredible views of the Méribel valley and is a superbly appointed property which sleeps up to 21 people in 10 bedrooms. Downstairs is a large open plan living room leading onto a sun terrace with hot tub and wonderful panoramic valley views. An open fireplace and comfy lounge with deep sofas will greet you on your return to the chalet for cakes and afternoon tea. The chalet has Sky TV, DVD, iPod station and Wi-Fi internet.

Ten bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms provide a cosy home-from-home with lots of privacy for 20 guests. All rooms have a ‘sunny-aspect’ balcony with great views of the mountains and valley laid out below. Location

The Location

Jolie is situated in the village of Méribel-Chandon, which is just a 10 minute ride to Méribel centre on the free resort bus which stops outside the chalet. The bus runs all day, every 30-40 mins in peak periods, until late in the evening to cover apres-ski.

You can ski or board back down to Méribel-Chandon, within a very short walk (or 300 metres or so) of the chalet under normal snow conditions. The ski back is via a well-used ski-track which is suitable for intermediate skiers and boarders.

Jolie is in a perfect position to offer a relaxing, yet convenient Méribel setting with all the benefits of a speedy connection to anywhere in the Three Valleys, whether it’s the resort centre and La Chaudanne for ski school meeting points or the main ski lifts to Val Thorens and Courchevel.

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. Méribel

Méribel is in the heart of one of the most prestigious ski areas in the world, Les Trois Vallèes. It shares a ski area with Courchevel and Val Thorens (all included on the same lift pass) and nestles in between these two mega-resorts to offer one of the finest ski areas known to man! Wide motorway piste, a vast network of beginner runs, jaw dropping off piste, snow parks for skiers and boarders and an array of intermediate and expert itineraries offering a huge variety of skiing.

We also love Méribel for its pretty architecture, buzzing resort-life and apres ski; and the Folie Douce of course!
