The Chalet

Chalet Crétet was extensively renovated a few seasons ago, using the highest quality fittings which has resulted in a really first class job, and amazing attention to detail. Fabulous carpentry and choice of woods is notable throughout the chalet, and the contemporary, sleek and smart, en suite bathrooms are a cut-above normal chalets - it is genuinely tremendous, and rightly popular with our guests!

The Crétet benefits from an indoor Jacuzzi (hot tub) with ambient mood lighting and a sauna for that all-important post ski & boarding relaxation. The open plan living and dining room enjoys fabulous mountain views, with the sofa seating centred around the welcoming log burner. This all helps ensure cosy and convivial mealtimes around the dinner table with your family and friends as you enjoy the excellent three course chalet menus.

Layout

Chalet Crétet offers five bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom facilities, and a mezzanine which can take two put-up beds for bigger children, as well as being usable for full-capacity adult discounts. The chalet is further enhanced by its open plan lounge-dining room (with welcoming log fire), secluded-valley feel, mountain views, well designed kitchen, and panoramic balcony. The Jacuzzi hot tub & sauna plus ski room with boot warmers finishes the chalet off perfectly. Most rooms can fit a childs cot.

Location

The Location

Located in Méribel-Mottaret, the higher part of Méribel, Chalet Crétet is only 250m from where the après ski bars and shops begin.

With the nearest ski slopes just 200m (approx) away from the chalet, guest are able to enjoy rapid access to the Chaudanne or further up to the excellent ski area around Mont Vallon. Mont Vallon has to be one of the best peaks in the Trois Vallèes, with its long runs right down to base level, followed by just a single cable car ride right back up again!

As a bonus, good skiers are able to ski back to the chalet via a fun powder run beside the trees above the chalet. Novice skiers and snowboarders can leave the cable car at any of the three stages, whilst more experienced skiers can choose to stay on right to the very top.

Food, glorious food

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. Méribel

Méribel is in the heart of one of the most prestigious ski areas in the world, Les Trois Vallèes. It shares a ski area with Courchevel and Val Thorens (all included on the same lift pass) and nestles in between these two mega-resorts to offer one of the finest ski areas known to man! Wide motorway piste, a vast network of beginner runs, jaw dropping off piste, snow parks for skiers and boarders and an array of intermediate and expert itineraries offering a huge variety of skiing.

We also love Méribel for its pretty architecture, buzzing resort-life and apres ski; and the Folie Douce of course!
