Your home for the week

The Castor is a cosy alpine ski chalet, set over three floors with five en-suite bedrooms. It enjoys a great location just 100m from Sully’s Apres ski bar and a 6-7 min’ walk to the town centre and ski slopes.

On the middle floor you will find a cosy living room with a log fireplace and comfortable seating area, Internet TV, dining room and access to a balcony.
Castor is a great chalet for families or friends looking for a convenient location and excellent value for money. As usual, you can expect a high level of Alpine Elements chalet service: with a hearty breakfast each day, afternoon tea and freshly made cakes as you return from the slopes, followed by our three course meals and wine.

Location

The chalet is located in the very popular Mussillon area of Méribel, just 100 metres from Sully’s bar for apres ski; and 150m from the local Supermarket and Pizza Express!

You can walk to the main town centre in about 6-7 mins’ where you will find the Tourist Office and access to the ski slopes which run straight down to the Chaudanne for all your ski school meeting points and main ski lifts, giving direct access to the wider 3 Valleys ski area. Alternatively, there is a free shuttle bus that stops nearby and will whisk you there in moments.

Eat, drink and be skiing

The only thing we enjoy as much as fresh powder is freshly-cooked food at the end of a day on the slopes. You can expect the very best from our highly-trained hosts and chefs, because we know that eating and drinking well are essential parts of any ski holiday.

• Bubbly reception on arrival night
• Breakfast each day (7 days) with hot options on 3 day
• Afternoon tea, coffee & hot choc’ with freshly baked cakes or biscuits (6 days)
• Three-course evening meals (6 nights)
• Red & white wine with dinner, unlimited until dessert
• Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year
• Welcome toiletries
• Explore the local restaurants for staff night off

Each morning you’ll enjoy our very own Breakfast of Champions. A hearty breakfast buffet with cooked options like eggs and bacon on 3 days; and mouth-watering continental options every day. Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes and each of our chalets has its own coffee machine supplying fresh coffee on tap to help you stay suitably caffeinated throughout your holiday.

In the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with a delicious three-course menu, accompanied by free-flowing wines until dessert. All this is served on six nights of your stay, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants on staff nights off.
