About Hotel Montana

Welcome to the Montana. You’ll like it here. It’s right in the heart of La Tania so you can walk out of its front door, snap on your skis, and the vast, beautiful 3 Valleys lies at your feet.

Our friendly team of staff have mountain air in their blood and we give them the training they need to make sure you have a brilliant time. Don’t just take our word for it though: last year 96% of our customers rated our staff as ‘excellent’.

Enjoy the facilities

Soak away those weary limbs in our sauna or steam room or jump into a bubbling hot tub. Why not head to our spa for a swim instead, before recharging with an espresso martini at happy hour? Play a game of pool or simply make yourself at home in our lounge, where you can curl up by a crackling log fire and swap stories from the slopes with friends.

Food, glorious food!

We’ve two restaurants in the hotel, serving everything from hearty ski-food to à la carte specialities. After a night’s well-earned slumber you can refuel here at breakfast (which is as hearty as it gets!) before heading back out for another day on the mountain. It’s a tough life, but someone has to do it…

Bedrooms...take your pick

Whatever you’re looking for from your stay, you’ll find it in the Montana. Our rooms are all en-suite and plenty of them have balconies with views of the Alps. We like to think they’re roomier than you might be expecting from the usual ski holiday too.

If you’re a group booker of 6+, you may be able to get free spaces by taking triple and/or quad bedrooms. Call us for more.

Location

Once you’ve fuelled up with a delicious, filling breakfast then you’re ready to go, and the Montana is in the perfect spot, right in the heart of the incredible 3 Valleys ski area. Just walk out the door onto the slopes, snap on your skis and you’re just 100 metres or so from the main gondola that’ll whisk you straight up to the finest runs the 3 Valleys has to offer. At the top you can ski down a plethora of snow sure runs (for all abilities) back into La Tania or choose to turn right for Meribel and left for Courchevel. The best of the 3 Valleys, right at your fingertips!

Eat, drink and be skiing

You can tuck in while you’re staying with us, safe in the knowledge that breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner is all included in the price. Because as we all know, an army (of holidaymakers) skis on its stomach. So a good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily continental breakfast (along with cooked options on most days) to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

We’ll make sure you’re well fed all week. Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes. Our delicious three-course à la carte evening meals are served 6 nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff night off.

About Courchevel - La Tania

Courchevel-La Tania is in the heart of the Three Valleys: an immense ski area with more variety than you’ll ever need, suiting all levels from first timers to freeride fanatics and piste-carving pro’s. La Tania itself benefits from an array of north-facing slopes that promise snow sure, late season skiing. Choose from easy greens and blues to challenging reds and blacks which wend their way through the trees (perfect for cloudy days) back to our hotel.

The local skiing is particularly forgiving for families and intermediates, who are all well suited to networks of easy cruising runs and enjoy nice scenery and crowd-free pistes. La Tania has some of the finest descents in the whole of the 3 Valleys and they all wind their way back to the door of our Hotel Montana. That’s one of the reasons our guests come back every year.

Our iGO SKI Hosts and Reps will be on hand from the moment you arrive to answer any questions you may have. They will deliver pre-booked passes straight to you and fast-track you through the ski shops where they can.
