The Elegant is a 4 Diamond chalet that has been fully renovated for the 21/22 ski season. As a newly built property with a sauna and slopeside location, it qualifies for our 4 diamond rating. The chalet sleeps 8-10 persons over 4 en-suite bedrooms (you’ll get a discount for taking all 10 beds) and enjoys a cosy interior with a log fire for relaxing after skiing. Elegant is perfectly positioned and an ideal ski retreat if you’re looking for slopeside access and high altitude snowsure skiing.

With a slopeside location and stunning mountain views you can really feel in the thick of the action here.

Plagne Village is great for everyone: from families and beginners looking for easy doorstep skiing and a village atmosphere; to advanced snow users who crave Route-One access to the best slopes in the Paradiski.

Enjoy the chalets’ own sauna and newly furnished living area. It boasts a cosy log fireplace, games and entertainments; with a sunny balcony offering excellent views of the slopes and the action on the mountain nearby. Of course, the views are best enjoyed with a slice (or two) of freshly made cake as you watch the skiers go by in the last of the afternoon sun. Your chalet host will treat your taste buds to a hearty 3 course meal and wine before you head out for some apres-ski or stay in, for some well-earned downtime.

Location

The Location

The Chalet Elegant next door to chalets Joly, Panoramique and Charmant which is great for larger groups to be close together.

Located slopeside in the popular Plagne Village, you’ll enjoy ski to door access to some of the best slopes in the Paradiski. It suits families, beginners and more advanced who want direct access to the best skiing or boarding, without having to trek across the resort to get to the best of it..

You can ski back to the chalet in all conditions, (for all abilities), and in the morning, simply cross over a small road and clip into your skis before heading down to the Bergerie or Melezes chairlifts. The Telebus ski lift (just 50 metres from the chalet) will take you directly to Plagne Centre for ski school meeting points, more lifts and a bigger choice of shops and bars. The Telebus runs until late (around midnight) for night-time bars.

In Plagne Villages itself, there is a small central area with restaurants, shops and a cool apres-ski bar or two, so you don't have to travel far if you’d like to keep things local.

Food, glorious food

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a hearty breakfast to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine. About La Plagne

La Plagne is a snow-sure super-resort, with excellent glacier skiing for all levels. Choose from the Bellecôte glacier in La Plagne (3250m) or the Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs (3226m). The Paradiski lift pass links these two neighbouring resorts to offer a large and diverse ski area, which is the 4th largest in France.

Try the 7 Km long run down from the top of the Aguille Rouge or explore the peaks of La Plagne, where you’ll find a seemingly endless supply of powder-snow, and some of the best (and longest) descents in France.
