The Hotel

The Hotel l’Heliopic is an elegant new hotel in Chamonix, located at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi cable-car. Just a short ride from the centre of Chamonix, the hotel provides a perfect base for your stay with every facility you could possibly want.

Expect magnificent views over the legendary Mont Blanc and majestic architecture. Stone and wood have been carefully treated to create a spacious and relaxing atmosphere, with textures chosen with comfort in mind.

The hotel features and a huge 500m² spa with swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, ice grotto and treatment rooms. Facials, massages and body wraps are available to book on arrival at affordable prices.

The Rooms

The bedrooms in the Hotel l’Heliopic are classically designed with lots of light and space.

Each room is equipped with a DVD-player and DVDs are available in the hotel’s library.

All rooms are full ensuite and feature a balcony with beautiful views.

Location

The hotel is a short ride from the centre of Chamonix, right at the base of the Aiguille du Midi cable car - the highest lift in Europe. From its height of 3,777m, the Aiguille du Midi and its laid-out terraces offer a 360° view of all the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.

A platform brings you to the summit terrace at 3,842m high, where you will have a clear view of Mont Blanc. Visitors from all over the world come to admire the views and ski this fantastic area. This is a unique and unmissable journey between the ground and the sky!

Getting around Chamonix is very easy and most places can be reached by foot. Alternatively, regular buses serve the entire valley and all ski areas, and are free of charge for lift pass holders.

You will also find the Mulets – free mini buses that make easy to get around in the city centre – departing every 10 minutes from various spots.

The Catering

This is one of our B&B Hotels, so evening meal is not included, but your day will start with a buffet breakfast to set you up for the day on the slopes! Breakfast is included in our packages.

With this option you get the chance to explore the local restaurants and the traditional culinary delights for your evening meals.

But if you don't want to venture out, the Hotel's Retro Chic Restaurant offers dishes inspired by French tradition and alpine flavours. The focus here is top-quality ingredients and locally sourced spices, combined with elegant style & vintage decoration.
