This recently refurbished hotel, just outside Chamonix centre, is guaranteed to give you a warm welcome.

The La Chaumiere is a traditional, family-run hotel with great food and a lovely bar, where you will feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. Expect a unique fusion of Scandinavian simplicity and functionality mixed with the charm of French alpine style.

The relaxed bar area in offers everything from après ski to aperitif & digestive! It is a comfortable and welcoming room that also serves external guests. It is the perfect place to unwind after a long day in the mountains. Here, you can share your stories, browse through the library of books and games, or simply sit back and enjoy the views over a well-earned drink.

The Rooms

La Chaumiere Hotel has 25 comfortable, practical and ensuite bedrooms.

All the rooms are spacious and recently refurbished, with fantastic views over Mont-Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons or Brevent. There is free Wi-Fi in all rooms and all communal areas.

Location

La Chaumiere hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Chamonix and the bus stop is situated 50 metres from the front door. The free resort shuttle service takes skiers and snowboarders directly to Les Houches, Brévent/Flégère and Les Grands Montets ski lifts in minutes.

Getting around Chamonix is very easy and most places can be reached by foot. Alternatively, regular buses serve the entire valley and all ski areas, and are free of charge for lift pass holders. You will also find the Mulets – free mini buses that make easy to get around in the city centre – departing every 10 minutes from various spots.

The Catering

Included in your Half Board package is a generous breakfast buffet and a 3 course evening meal for most nights depending on your arrival time*. Excellent food is a central part of La Chaumiere concept and the hotel menu offers international and classic dishes with a local Savoyard touch.

The bread at La Chaumiere is delivered daily by the local boulangerie and the salads and herbs come fresh from the market. Main courses and desserts are all locally sourced and cooked to the highest standards. The Hotel exquisite wine list offers great prices for guests.
