About Chamonix

Chamonix offers an unprecedented level of ski facilities for all levels of skier and a weekend experience that is unsurpassed. Whilst being a popular attraction for non-skiing visitors, Cham' will pack a lot into your weekend, both on and off the mountain!

Why we love Cham!

The off-piste is legendary. World-renowned: with itinerary runs and marked off-piste routes with the highest mountain in Europe, so good snow is as guaranteed as can be!

Chamonix is just over an hour from Geneva which enables you to get to resort in 3 to 4 hours from leaving the UK under normal traffic conditions.

If you want a diverse resort with lots going on (over 200 bars and cafes) then Cham’ has it all: from speciality breweries for the connoisseurs to buzzing apres-ski bars; and underground nightclubs to Michelin restaurants.

For Beginners

The best beginner runs are at Le Tour or in Les Houches which is a satellite resort within the Chamonix valley and where the excellent hotel Rocky Pop is situated. From here, you can ski over to St Gervais (a linked resort), so it’s possibly the best beginners spot in Cham’, also great for intermediates and is a friendly little resort...

For Intermediates and Advanced

Intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders have a lot to get excited about! Not least with its amazing snow record, but for its incredible selection of pisted runs and off-piste itineraries (marked routes) too. You can find fresh powder here, (if you know where to look) almost all season long. We’d always recommend guide for a day if you’re a high level intermediate/advanced rider to sample the best of Chamonix.
