Hotel Pointe Isabelle
ChamonixThe Hotel
Located in the heart of Chamonix, the Pointe Isabelle has been completely renovated in 2014 and has plenty of history behind it. The hotel is named after Isabella Straton, a well-educated and wealthy young lady who left England in the 1860s to become a pioneering mountaineer in the unexplored French Alps.
Many years later, Isabella's grandchildren opened the hotel and named it after the mountain in the Mont Blanc massif that was climbed by Isabella Straton for the first time in 1875.
Pointe Isabelle has a trendy, but timeless, feel to it with modern and comfortable furnishings. The fantastic location in the centre of Chamonix is simply fantastic to both keen skiers and those interested in the culture and activities of Chamonix.
The trendy bar & bistro offers traditional cuisine with a modern twist and some British and Scandinavian favourites!
The sunny terrace adjoining the bar is one of Chamonix’s favourite spots for enjoying the mountain scenery and soaking up the resort atmosphere.
