Val D’Isere Overview
There is a very good reason why Val was picked to host the 2009 World Skiing Championships. Perhaps it’s her unparalleled snow record? The super efficient lift system?

Or maybe just the fact that the mountain offers some of finest skiing to be had in the world. Val and Tignes together make up the legendary Espace Killy which provides a huge array of differing pistes, although it has to be said, intermediates and upwards will get more out of the area. With an electric atmosphere one hundred percent focused on skiing it’s no wonder that many winter sport enthusiasts list Val D’Isere as their number one resort.
