Morzine Overview

Situated next door to Les Gets in the heart of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area, Morzine is another very pretty chalet-style resort with a lively apres ski and excellent restaurants.

Morzine benefits with direct access to the high altitude slopes in Avoriaz, whilst retaining the charm and character of a pretty chalet-style resort. Unlike Avoriaz, Morzine has not suffered the concrete touch and not a single high rise apartment block can be found!

Morzine Skiing
Beginners and Intermediates will enjoy the vast network of inter-connecting green and blue runs that offer interesting cruising and wonderful mountain scenery with tree lined skiing as they wind down the valley.

The more advanced skiers and boarders will enjoy the wide open slopes and powder fields at altitude, and the abundance of fast blues and challenging red and black slopes will keep the experts entertained. For those that like to pile on the miles, a tour of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area offers a round circuit of 76kms which can be completed in a day.

Morzine is very well facilitated for novice skiers and boarders, with English speaking and British run ski schools that have an excellent reputation for client care.
