Ski Resorts
All our resorts have been especially chosen for their suitability to the weekend skier
and snowboarder. They are located within 2 and half hours of Geneva airport (many are closer) and our ski chalets with in each resort are close to the ski slopes and resort centre.
Our resorts are also perfectly suited to beginner and intermediate skiers, whilst offering challenging skiing and snowboarding for more advanced snow users. Each resort has ski schools and we can offer a package of lessons and ski or board hire for your short break away at very competitive prices.
Size of the ski area is also an important consideration for the short break skier, as one tends to want to get the most out of their short break away, skiing as much mileage as one can in the short time that they have. Ski lift and slope quality is also a priority where the weekend skier will not want queue bottle necks or narrow pistes.
All our resorts have been well researched and painstakingly tested, for maximum weekend skiing, well someone has to do it!
We look at things like: Access to mountain and general uplift time from the resort, along with how quickly you can be skiing from the chalet door.
We also look at the general flow of skiers on the mountain and lift queue bottle necks, restaurant facilities and the age and state of repairof ski lifts, (taking note of the quantity of Express Chair lifts).
Finally we look at resort services, destination airport capabilities and airport transfer time, because no body wants to be stuck on windy access roads in hours of traffic or be delayed into the arrival airport due to fog. It is worth noting that some airports, (such as Chambery), which although seem closer to resort, do suffer from excessive delays given their location in the mountains.
