La Plagne is situated in a unique site in the Savoie, in the heart of the Tarentaise opposite Mont-Blanc. It is a group of interconnected high-altitude village resorts at elevations ranging from 1,250 to 2,100m. Discover landscapes forged by mountain agriculture. Champagny-en-Vanoise: the narrow road to Vanoise National Park passes through many small hamlets (La Couaz, La Chiserette, Le Bois, Friburge and Le Laisonnay).

St Martin’s Basilica and Montmayeur Tower in Aime en Vallée… the Pierre Borrione Museum, Longefoy (Plagne Montalbert) offers “heritage trails” between the resort and village that present its history: the bread oven, Baroque church, chapel and water-mill. The Baroque Paths travel through the mountain pastures and villages of the Savoie.
